About the role
Key Responsibilities
- Lead multiple software engineering teams through the full product lifecycle, from concept to certification, for aerospace applications.
- Define and enforce engineering standards, architecture guidelines, and best practices to meet rigorous aerospace safety and reliability requirements.
- Drive Agile and DevOps adoption, ensuring continuous integration, automated testing, and rapid, reliable delivery of embedded software.
- Collaborate with cross‑functional stakeholders—systems, hardware, and program management—to align software solutions with business objectives and customer needs.
- Mentor and develop engineers, fostering a culture of innovation, technical excellence, and continuous improvement.
Requirements
- 10+ years of software development experience, with at least 5 years in a leadership or management role.
- Strong proficiency in C++ and Java for embedded and real‑time systems.
- Hands‑on experience with embedded systems, real‑time operating systems, and aerospace industry standards (e.g., DO‑178C).
- Proven track record of delivering complex software projects using Agile methodologies and DevOps toolchains.
- Excellent communication, stakeholder management, and team‑building skills.
