Senior Software Engineer responsible for designing, developing, testing, and maintaining Workday integrations, building robust APIs, and leveraging cloud services to support high‑volume payment platforms.
About the role
Key Responsibilities
- Design, develop, test, and maintain Workday integrations using Workday Enterprise Interface (EI) and related APIs.
- Build and expose RESTful services to enable seamless data exchange between payment systems and internal applications.
- Implement data transformation, validation, and error‑handling logic to ensure high‑quality integration flows.
- Collaborate with cross‑functional teams to define integration requirements, troubleshoot issues, and optimize performance.
- Utilize AWS services and CI/CD pipelines to deploy, monitor, and scale integration solutions.
Requirements
- 5+ years of professional software engineering experience, primarily in Java.
- Hands‑on experience with Workday Integration tools (EI, Studio, Web Services).
- Strong knowledge of REST API design, JSON/XML processing, and relational databases (SQL).
- Proficiency with cloud platforms (AWS) and modern DevOps practices (CI/CD, containerization).
- Excellent problem‑solving skills and ability to work collaboratively in an agile environment.
