Software Engineer
Lead the design and delivery of scalable, cloud‑native microservices for a high‑volume automotive dealer platform, leveraging Java, Spring Boot, AWS, and container orchestration to enhance dealer operations and marketing tools.
About the role
Key Responsibilities
- Architect, develop, and maintain high‑throughput microservices in Java/Spring Boot for the AutoSync dealer platform.
- Design and implement scalable, fault‑tolerant solutions on AWS, utilizing services such as EC2, RDS, S3, and Lambda.
- Containerize applications with Docker and orchestrate deployments using Kubernetes, ensuring zero‑downtime releases.
- Collaborate with product, QA, and DevOps teams to define requirements, perform code reviews, and enforce best practices.
- Optimize database schemas and queries in SQL to support real‑time dealer analytics and reporting.
Requirements
- 5+ years of professional experience in Java backend development.
- Strong proficiency with Spring Boot, RESTful API design, and microservices architecture.
- Hands‑on experience with AWS cloud services and container orchestration (Docker, Kubernetes).
- Solid understanding of relational databases (PostgreSQL/MySQL) and performance tuning.
- Excellent problem‑solving skills, ability to work independently, and strong communication abilities.
