Lead the design and delivery of high‑scale supply‑chain services for a global ticketing platform, leveraging Python, Java, and AWS to build resilient, containerized microservices that power real‑time inventory and pricing.
About the role
Key Responsibilities
- Architect, develop, and maintain scalable microservices in Python and Java that support real‑time ticket inventory, pricing, and order management.
- Collaborate with cross‑functional teams to define requirements, design solutions, and deliver features on time.
- Implement CI/CD pipelines using Docker, Kubernetes, and AWS services (ECS/EKS, RDS, S3) to ensure rapid, reliable deployments.
- Optimize performance and cost of cloud resources, applying best practices for monitoring, logging, and alerting.
- Mentor junior engineers, conduct code reviews, and promote a culture of quality and continuous improvement.
Requirements
- 5+ years of production experience building distributed systems in Python or Java.
- Strong knowledge of AWS, containerization, and orchestration with Docker/Kubernetes.
- Proficiency with relational databases (PostgreSQL/MySQL) and experience with SQL optimization.
- Excellent problem‑solving skills and a passion for clean, maintainable code.
- Effective communication skills and ability to work in a fast‑paced, collaborative environment.
