We are looking for a driven Senior Software Engineer with deep experience in Node.js, React, and Firebase RTDB who is obsessed with reliability and customer experience. In this role, your primary mission is to drive production bugs toward zero , relentlessly improve our stability, and ensure that every interaction landlords and tenants have with RentRedi just works.

You will be a key contributor in delighting our customers. Put a smile on their face so that they want to tell their friends about what RentRedi has done for their tenants and properties.

Have a strong foundation in Node.js + React + Firebase and care deeply about how your code behaves in production, not just in local dev.

Take zero tolerance for recurring bugs and broken experiences—a workaround is not acceptable to you.

Love doing root cause analysis , eliminating classes of issues, and raising the quality bar permanently.

Think in terms of observability (Datadog, Sentry, logs, metrics, traces) and want to see what the system is doing at all times.

Responsibilities

•  Drive bugs to zero: Own and aggressively reduce our production bug backlog, prioritizing issues that impact customer experience and trust.
• Root cause first, not band-aids: Lead investigations into complex defects, identify systemic causes, and implement durable fixes that prevent recurrence.
• Raise test coverage and quality gates: Expand automated test coverage (unit, integration, end-to-end) for critical paths across Node.js, React, and Firebase; implement safeguards so issues are caught before release.
