Job Title: SAP BTP technical Position: Senior Software Engineer Experience: 6 to 9 Years Category: IT Infrastructure Job location: Bangalore Njoyn- J0726-2132 Employment Type: Full Time Job Description: Job Summary: The SAP S4HANA BTP Technical Engineer is responsible for supporting SAP S/4HANA deployments and supporting, administering and optimizing SAP Business Technology Platform services in a post go live application maintenance environment. Collaborates within a global team and works closely with business stakeholders, partners and cross functional teams to ensure stable, secure and scalable digital solutions. The role focuses on technical support, issue resolution, system stability and operational effectiveness across cloud integrations, extensions and platform services. Key Areas of Responsibility . Support Product Owners, key users and project teams in maintaining SAP BTP solutions aligned to the global template and deploying the global SAP S/4HANA implementation on a local level. . Support, develop and administer SAP BTP services including Integration Suite, CPI, API Management, Event Mesh, Extension Suite, SAP Build Process Automation and cloud native extensions. . Provide end to end technical support in an AMS environment including incident management, service requests, defect resolution and root cause analysis in line with agreed service levels. . Monitor and administer SAP BTP services, integration workloads, cloud applications, interfaces, destinations, connectivity, security configurations and platform health. . Support integration and extension scenarios with SAP ECC, SAP S/4HANA, SuccessFactors, Ariba, Concur, IBP, BW and non SAP systems. . Support SAP BTP transport management, deployment, release management and CI/CD pipelines across development, test and production landscapes. . Support SAP BTP security including Identity Authentication Service (IAS), Identity Provisioning Service (IPS), role collections, destinations, connectivity configurations and authorizations. . Support technical processes with strong integration across ERP, cloud platforms, middleware, security and DevOps domains. . Support modernization and simplification of legacy integrations and technical interfaces using SAP BTP services where applicable. . Support enhancements and implementation activities related to ongoing SAP S/4HANA programs and integration requirements. . Provide user support, technical guidance and knowledge sharing to enable consistent adoption and operational effectiveness. Experiences and Skills . Hands on experience in SAP BTP implementation and/or support with strong technical expertise in Integration Suite, CPI, API Management, Event Mesh and Extension Suite. . Strong hands on experience with CPI iFlows, Groovy scripting, API Management, Event Mesh, Destinations, Connectivity, Role Collections, Security, Transport Management and SAP BTP Subaccount Administration. . Strong understanding of integration scenarios with SAP ECC, SAP S/4HANA, SuccessFactors, Ariba, Concur, IBP, BW and third party systems. . Experience working in a global application maintenance support or production support environment including stakeholder management and cross functional collaboration. . Experience in system enhancements, incident resolution, problem management, monitoring and delivery of supportable technical solutions. . Experience in technical documentation, integration catalogs, architecture diagrams, runbooks and test scenarios. . Good understanding of SAP BTP administration, Cloud Foundry, transport management, release management, DevOps pipelines and cloud application lifecycle management. . Knowledge of CAP (Node.js/Java), SAP Build Apps, SAP Build Process Automation, SAPUI5/Fiori, Cloud Foundry, Kyma Runtime and ABAP is an advantage. . Experience with SAP Cloud Transport Management Service (TMS) and CI/CD deployment practices is an advantage. . SAP BTP, Integration Suite or Extension Suite certification is an advantage. . Strong analytical, problem solving and communication skills. . Ability to work effectively in a global, complex and highly integrated business environment. Grading Differentiators . Good knowledge of SAP BTP services, cloud integration practices and incident management processes. . Operates independently within assigned technical scope and delivers with limited supervision. .
