Workato is seeking a Senior Software Engineer with expertise in Ruby/Ruby on Rails and a strong interest in Chatbots & AI. This role will involve contributing to the development of our intelligent automation platform.
Responsibilities
- Design, develop, and maintain high-quality software using Ruby on Rails.
- Contribute to the development of chatbot functionalities and AI integrations within the Workato platform.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define, design, and ship new features.
- Write clean, maintainable, and efficient code.
- Participate in code reviews and provide constructive feedback to peers.
- Troubleshoot and debug production issues.
- Stay up-to-date with the latest industry trends and technologies in Ruby, AI, and chatbots.
Requirements
- Proven experience as a Software Engineer with strong proficiency in Ruby and Ruby on Rails.
- Experience or a keen interest in developing with chatbots and AI technologies.
- Solid understanding of software development principles, design patterns, and best practices.
- Experience with database systems (e.g., PostgreSQL, MySQL).
- Familiarity with RESTful APIs and microservices architecture.
- Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
- Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced, collaborative environment.
