Software Engineer
Lead the design and implementation of a high‑performance pricing platform, driving architecture, scalability, and automation using Python, Node.js, and AWS services.
About the role
Key Responsibilities
- Architect and develop core pricing algorithms and services in Python and Node.js, ensuring high availability and low latency.
- Design and maintain cloud‑native infrastructure on AWS, leveraging services such as ECS, Lambda, and RDS.
- Implement CI/CD pipelines with Docker and Kubernetes, automating deployments and rollbacks.
- Collaborate with data scientists to integrate machine‑learning models into the pricing workflow.
- Optimize SQL queries and database schemas for large‑scale transactional data.
- Mentor junior engineers and conduct code reviews to uphold quality standards.
Requirements
- 5+ years of professional software development experience.
- Proficiency in Python, Node.js, and relational database design.
- Hands‑on experience with AWS, Docker, and Kubernetes.
- Strong problem‑solving skills and a passion for clean, maintainable code.
- Excellent communication skills in German and English.
