Who We Are
Nuro is a self-driving technology company on a mission to make autonomy accessible to all. Founded in 2016, Nuro is building the world’s most scalable driver, combining cutting-edge AI with automotive-grade hardware. Nuro licenses its core technology, the Nuro Driver™, to support a wide range of applications, from robotaxis and commercial fleets to personally owned vehicles. With technology proven over years of self-driving deployments, Nuro gives the automakers and mobility platforms a clear path to AVs at commercial scale, empowering a safer, richer, and more connected future.
About the Team
Fleet Connectivity is the team that keeps Nuro's autonomous robots connected, observable, and current — owning everything from cloud infrastructure and telemetry pipelines to the OTA update systems that push software directly onto vehicles in the field. The problems we solve are non-negotiable: how do you reliably update a fleet of self-driving robots at scale, minimize downtime, and guarantee that every vehicle is running exactly the software it should be? Getting this wrong isn't a bug ticket — it's a safety issue. If you're an infrastructure engineer who wants your work to matter beyond the datacenter, this is the team.
About the Role We are looking for a skilled engineer to help build and maintain release and over-the-air (OTA) update infrastructure. Our team, Fleet connectivity, builds the infrastructure to connect and update Nuro’s fleets. Our engineers work on the tech stack across the cloud and robots to build reliable, efficient systems for network connectivity, telemetry, and software updates, which is critical to the advancement and scale up of our AV vision.
