Accountabilities:

The Senior Software Engineer will be responsible for designing, developing, and maintaining backend services that power a scalable SaaS platform. The role requires strong technical ownership, collaboration across teams, and a focus on delivering high-quality solutions while ensuring long-term system reliability.

• Architect and build scalable, high-performance APIs and backend services.
• Design and deliver new product features in collaboration with product and engineering teams.
• Provide technical input on product direction, roadmap planning, and feature scope.
• Promote engineering excellence through code reviews, automated testing, and clean architecture practices.
• Improve application and database performance to support platform growth.
• Evaluate and introduce modern backend technologies and development practices.
• Investigate and resolve production issues to maintain system availability and reliability.

Requirements:

The ideal candidate is an experienced software engineer with a strong background in building production-grade SaaS applications. You should have deep backend development expertise, excellent problem-solving abilities, and the ability to collaborate effectively in a fast-paced, distributed environment.

• 5+ years of professional software engineering experience delivering production software for B2B or B2C SaaS products.
• Strong expertise in Python and backend frameworks such as Django.
• Solid experience working with relational databases, preferably PostgreSQL.
• Proven ability to design scalable systems and write maintainable, high-quality code.
• Strong understanding of software architecture, testing practices, and performance optimization.
• Excellent communication skills and ability to work effectively with cross-functional teams.
