About the role
Key Responsibilities
- Design, develop, and maintain core features of the iRecruiter SaaS platform using Java and modern JavaScript frameworks.
- Build and optimize scalable RESTful APIs and micro‑services deployed on AWS.
- Collaborate with product, UX, and QA teams to deliver high‑quality releases on a fast‑paced schedule.
- Implement robust data models and queries in SQL databases to support large‑scale recruiting data.
- Mentor junior engineers, conduct code reviews, and champion best practices for performance, security, and reliability.
Requirements
- 5+ years of professional software development experience, primarily with Java and JavaScript.
- Strong expertise in building and deploying RESTful services on AWS (EC2, S3, Lambda, RDS).
- Proficiency in relational databases and SQL query optimization.
- Experience with CI/CD pipelines, automated testing, and agile development methodologies.
- Excellent problem‑solving skills and ability to work effectively in a collaborative, fast‑moving environment.
