About the role
Key Responsibilities
- Design, develop, and maintain BizTalk Server 2000 solutions, including pipelines, orchestrations, and maps.
- Implement custom adapters and components using C# and the .NET Framework to meet complex integration requirements.
- Collaborate with architects and business analysts to translate functional specifications into technical designs.
- Perform performance tuning, monitoring, and troubleshooting of BizTalk environments and associated SQL Server databases.
- Provide guidance and mentorship to junior developers on best practices for enterprise integration and messaging patterns.
Requirements
- 5+ years of hands‑on experience with Microsoft BizTalk Server (2000 or later) in large‑scale enterprise projects.
- Strong proficiency in C# and the .NET Framework for developing custom BizTalk components.
- Solid understanding of relational databases, particularly SQL Server, including writing stored procedures and optimizing queries.
- Experience with Web Services (SOAP/REST) and XML/JSON data formats for system integration.
- Excellent problem‑solving skills and ability to work independently or within a multidisciplinary team.
