Software Engineer
Senior Software Engineer building scalable data pipelines, APIs, and validation tooling for global equity indices using Python, Java, SQL, and AWS. Lead architectural decisions and collaborate across product and operations to deliver high‑quality, real‑time index data services.
About the role
Key Responsibilities
- Design, develop, and maintain end‑to‑end data pipelines for equity, commodity, FX, rates, futures, options, swaps, and crypto indices.
- Build high‑performance APIs and operational UIs that expose index data to internal and external stakeholders.
- Implement robust validation and testing frameworks to ensure data integrity and compliance with industry standards.
- Collaborate closely with Product and Operations teams to define feature requirements and prioritize backlog items.
- Drive architectural improvements, performance tuning, and cloud migration strategies on AWS.
Requirements
- 5+ years of software engineering experience in a data‑centric environment.
- Strong proficiency in Python and Java, with solid SQL skills for data manipulation.
- Hands‑on experience with AWS services (EC2, S3, RDS, Lambda, Glue).
- Demonstrated ability to design scalable, fault‑tolerant systems and APIs.
- Excellent communication skills and a collaborative mindset.
