About the role
Key Responsibilities
- Design, develop, and maintain robust microservices in Python and Java, ensuring high performance and reliability.
- Implement secure, cloud‑native solutions on AWS, leveraging services such as EC2, RDS, Lambda, and S3.
- Collaborate with data scientists, product managers, and UX teams to translate business requirements into technical specifications.
- Write comprehensive unit, integration, and performance tests; participate in code reviews and continuous integration pipelines.
- Participate in Agile ceremonies, contribute to sprint planning, and mentor junior engineers.
Requirements
- 5+ years of professional software development experience in enterprise environments.
- Strong proficiency in Python and Java, with experience in RESTful API design.
- Hands‑on experience deploying applications to AWS and managing infrastructure as code.
- Solid understanding of relational databases (SQL) and data modeling.
- Excellent problem‑solving skills, strong communication, and a collaborative mindset.
