About the role
Key Responsibilities
- Design, develop, and maintain scalable microservice components for the health‑plan product suite.
- Implement new features and resolve complex bugs, ensuring high performance and reliability.
- Collaborate with product, UX, and data science teams to integrate AI/ML models into the platform.
- Drive cloud‑infrastructure improvements on AWS, including CI/CD pipelines, monitoring, and security best practices.
- Mentor junior engineers and contribute to architectural decisions that shape the product roadmap.
Requirements
- 5+ years of professional software development experience, primarily in Java and Python.
- Strong expertise in building and deploying microservices on AWS (EC2, Lambda, ECS/EKS, S3, RDS).
- Hands‑on experience with containerization (Docker) and orchestration (Kubernetes) in a CI/CD environment.
- Familiarity with integrating machine‑learning models and data pipelines into production systems.
- Excellent problem‑solving skills, ability to work cross‑functionally, and a passion for improving healthcare technology.
