Minimum qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree or equivalent practical experience.
- 5 years of experience with software development in one or more programming languages.
- 3 years of experience with developing large-scale infrastructure, distributed systems or networks, or experience with compute technologies, storage or hardware architecture.
- 3 years of experience testing, maintaining, or launching software products, and 1 year of experience with software design and architecture.
Preferred qualifications:
- Master's degree or PhD in Computer Science or related technical field.
- 5 years of experience with data structures and algorithms.
- 1 year of experience in a technical leadership role.
- Experience developing accessible technologies.
Responsibilities
- Architect, code, test, and deploy complex solutions for the GCS Resource engineering capacity planning pipelines, exercising technical judgment by fully exploring the option space and selecting solutions that balance velocity, maintainability, and scale constraints, with foresight to anticipate and address future issues.
- Exhibit technical leadership by setting technical direction and priorities for adjacent engineers, influencing beyond yourself by developing rich relationships with product managers, partner teams, and cross-functional peers to align objectives and timelines across multiple teams to deliver on the product roadmap.
- Take full ownership of complex technical challenges, independently solving them from design through launch to landing.
- Serve as a key resource and advise others on the latest internal AI tools and best practices.
