About the role
Key Responsibilities
- Design, develop, and maintain scalable Python services that process clinical notes and generate billing codes.
- Collaborate with data scientists to integrate NLP and machine‑learning models into production pipelines.
- Deploy and monitor models on AWS infrastructure, ensuring high availability and performance.
- Optimize data ingestion and transformation workflows for large volumes of unstructured medical data.
- Participate in code reviews, unit testing, and continuous integration to uphold code quality.
Requirements
- 5+ years of software engineering experience with a strong focus on Python.
- Hands‑on experience with NLP libraries (e.g., spaCy, Hugging Face) and machine‑learning frameworks (e.g., PyTorch, TensorFlow).
- Proficiency in AWS services such as SageMaker, Lambda, S3, and EC2.
- Solid understanding of data engineering principles and experience with SQL/NoSQL databases.
- Excellent problem‑solving skills and a passion for improving healthcare outcomes through technology.
