About the role
Key Responsibilities
- Design, develop, and maintain high‑throughput micro‑services that power media ingestion, processing, and delivery pipelines.
- Collaborate with product managers, designers, and data scientists to translate storytelling requirements into robust, scalable software solutions.
- Implement cloud‑native architectures on AWS, leveraging services such as EC2, S3, Lambda, and RDS to ensure elasticity and cost efficiency.
- Containerize applications with Docker and orchestrate deployments using Kubernetes, establishing CI/CD pipelines for rapid, reliable releases.
- Conduct performance profiling, code reviews, and automated testing to uphold code quality, security, and operational excellence.
Requirements
- 5+ years of professional software development experience with Java, C++, or Python in large‑scale, distributed systems.
- Strong expertise in AWS cloud services and infrastructure‑as‑code tools (e.g., CloudFormation, Terraform).
- Hands‑on experience with containerization (Docker) and orchestration platforms (Kubernetes).
- Proven ability to design, implement, and optimize RESTful APIs and streaming data pipelines.
- Excellent problem‑solving skills, collaborative mindset, and a passion for merging technology with creative media experiences.
