Senior Software Engineer, Core Experiences - Hyderabad, India - Speechify

Key Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and maintain core backend services and SDKs that support Speechify’s audio‑information platform.
• Collaborate with cross‑functional teams to define feature requirements and translate them into robust, scalable code.
• Implement and optimize RESTful APIs, ensuring high performance, security, and reliability at scale.
• Utilize AWS services (Lambda, S3, DynamoDB, etc.) to build and deploy cloud‑native solutions.
• Containerize applications with Docker and manage deployments using CI/CD pipelines.
• Conduct code reviews, mentor junior engineers, and promote best practices in software quality and testing.

Requirements

• 5+ years of professional software development experience, with a strong focus on backend engineering.
