Software Engineer
Lead full‑stack development of a next‑generation Air Force aircraft maintenance platform using Java/Spring Boot, Angular, and cloud‑native technologies such as Kubernetes, Google Cloud, and Apigee.
About the role
Key Responsibilities
- Design, develop, and maintain scalable microservices with Java and Spring Boot that support critical maintenance workflows.
- Build responsive Angular front‑end components to deliver an intuitive user experience for Air Force maintainers.
- Integrate services with Google Cloud infrastructure, including Kubernetes orchestration and Apigee API management.
- Collaborate with cross‑functional teams to define data models, APIs, and deployment pipelines.
- Participate in code reviews, performance tuning, and continuous improvement of the platform.
Requirements
- 5+ years of professional software development experience in Java and Spring Boot.
- Strong proficiency in Angular and modern front‑end development practices.
- Hands‑on experience with Kubernetes, Google Cloud Platform, and API gateways such as Apigee.
- Solid understanding of microservices architecture, CI/CD, and cloud‑native design patterns.
- Excellent problem‑solving skills and a collaborative mindset.
