Senior Software Engineer with 10+ years of experience designing, building, and maintaining scalable applications, leading code reviews, mentoring junior developers, and delivering RESTful APIs and microservices in an Agile environment.
About the role
Key Responsibilities
- Design, develop, and maintain high‑quality, scalable software applications using Java, Python, or comparable languages.
- Architect, implement, and integrate RESTful APIs and microservices that support cross‑functional product features.
- Conduct thorough code reviews, enforce best practices, and mentor junior engineers to elevate team capability.
- Identify performance bottlenecks, troubleshoot issues, and optimize applications for reliability and speed.
- Collaborate closely with Product, QA, and DevOps teams throughout the full software development lifecycle, ensuring timely delivery.
Requirements
- 10+ years of professional software development experience, with a strong focus on Java or Python.
- Proven experience building and consuming RESTful APIs and microservice architectures.
- Deep understanding of Agile methodologies and ability to work effectively in Scrum or Kanban teams.
- Hands‑on experience with cloud platforms (e.g., AWS) and CI/CD pipelines.
- Excellent problem‑solving skills and a track record of mentoring junior developers.
