Software Engineer
Lead the design and delivery of scalable B2B services that power fan engagement across concerts, sports, and theater. Drive architecture, performance, and reliability using JavaScript, Node.js, React, AWS, and relational databases.
About the role
Key Responsibilities
- Architect, develop, and maintain high‑throughput B2B APIs and web services that support ticketing, seat selection, and event discovery.
- Collaborate with product, design, and data teams to translate business requirements into robust, scalable solutions.
- Implement CI/CD pipelines, automated testing, and monitoring to ensure rapid, reliable releases.
- Mentor junior engineers, conduct code reviews, and promote best practices in coding, security, and performance.
- Analyze system metrics, troubleshoot production incidents, and drive continuous improvement.
Requirements
- 5+ years of professional software development experience, with a strong focus on backend and full‑stack JavaScript.
- Proficiency in Node.js, Express, and modern front‑end frameworks (React or similar).
- Hands‑on experience with AWS services (EC2, RDS, S3, Lambda, CloudWatch) and relational databases (PostgreSQL/MySQL).
- Solid understanding of RESTful API design, authentication, and data modeling.
- Excellent problem‑solving skills, strong communication, and a passion for building high‑quality, fan‑centric products.
