Senior Software Engineer driving technical excellence on Charles River IMS modules, designing, developing, and debugging complex Java/Spring solutions, while collaborating with product teams in an Agile environment.
About the role
Key Responsibilities
- Analyze, design, develop, test, and debug large‑scale Java/Spring enhancements for Charles River IMS modules.
- Collaborate with Business Analysts and Product Managers to translate requirements into clean, maintainable code.
- Provide engineering troubleshooting support to customer support and cross‑functional development teams.
- Participate in code reviews, unit testing, and continuous integration pipelines to ensure high quality deliverables.
- Mentor junior engineers and promote best practices in architecture, coding standards, and performance optimization.
Requirements
- 5+ years of professional experience in Java and Spring Boot development.
- Strong knowledge of RESTful API design, SQL database interaction, and unit testing frameworks.
- Proven experience working in Agile Scrum teams with a focus on technical excellence.
- Excellent problem‑solving skills and ability to work independently on complex issues.
- Effective communication skills for collaborating with cross‑functional stakeholders.
