About the role
Key Responsibilities
- Architect, develop, and maintain robust REST and SOAP integrations with external emergency care systems such as ePCR and narcotic tracking platforms.
- Lead the integration ecosystem roadmap, ensuring scalability, security, and high availability in a cloud‑native environment.
- Collaborate with product, clinical, and operations teams to translate clinical workflows into reliable API solutions.
- Implement CI/CD pipelines, automated testing, and monitoring to guarantee rapid, error‑free deployments.
- Mentor junior engineers and enforce best practices for code quality, documentation, and performance optimization.
Requirements
- 5+ years of professional software development experience, with deep expertise in Python or Node.js.
- Strong background designing and supporting RESTful and SOAP‑based integrations in regulated, high‑availability environments.
- Hands‑on experience with AWS services (e.g., Lambda, API Gateway, RDS) and containerization tools such as Docker.
- Proven ability to work cross‑functionally, translating complex clinical requirements into technical solutions.
- Experience with CI/CD, automated testing, and monitoring frameworks (e.g., Jenkins, GitHub Actions, Prometheus).
