Senior Software Engineer, Android Backup Server - Google

Key Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and maintain high‑throughput backend services that support Android backup and restore workflows.
• Architect scalable solutions using Java and Google Cloud Spanner, ensuring data consistency and low latency at scale.
• Collaborate with cross‑functional teams to define feature requirements, estimate effort, and deliver production‑ready code.
• Lead code reviews, mentor junior engineers, and promote best practices in software design, testing, and deployment.
• Analyze system performance, troubleshoot production incidents, and implement continuous improvement initiatives.

Requirements
