About the role
Key Responsibilities
- Lead and mentor a cross‑functional engineering team focused on the design, implementation, and operation of the SDN control plane for a satellite network.
- Architect and evolve beam planning, routing, and forwarding algorithms to optimize coverage and throughput across the constellation.
- Drive the development of device agent software that runs on satellite payloads, ensuring secure, reliable, and low‑latency communication.
- Build and maintain observability tools and dashboards to monitor network health, performance, and incident response.
- Collaborate with product, operations, and security teams to define requirements, prioritize features, and deliver high‑quality releases.
Requirements
- 10+ years of software engineering experience with 3+ years in a leadership role.
