About the role
Key Responsibilities
- Design, develop, and maintain Epic‑based ambulatory modules using Java and C#.
- Integrate clinical data via HL7 and FHIR interfaces, ensuring data integrity and compliance.
- Collaborate with cross‑functional teams in Agile sprints, delivering incremental value and participating in backlog grooming.
- Write clean, testable code, conduct code reviews, and mentor junior engineers.
- Participate in performance tuning, security reviews, and continuous improvement initiatives.
Requirements
- 5+ years of software development experience in healthcare IT, with deep knowledge of Epic systems.
- Proficiency in Java and C#, with strong SQL and database design skills.
- Hands‑on experience with HL7 v2/v3 and FHIR standards.
- Solid understanding of Agile methodologies and DevOps practices.
- Excellent problem‑solving, communication, and teamwork abilities.
