About the role
Key Responsibilities
- Design, develop, and maintain high‑performance applications on the Pega Platform supporting core banking and member services.
- Implement integrations with internal and external systems using RESTful APIs and Java services.
- Collaborate with product owners, architects, and QA teams in Agile sprints to deliver features on schedule.
- Write efficient SQL queries and optimize database interactions for reporting and transactional workloads.
- Participate in code reviews, troubleshoot production issues, and continuously improve code quality and performance.
Requirements
- 5+ years of professional software development experience, with at least 3 years focused on Pega Platform (Pega 7/8).
- Strong proficiency in Java and experience building RESTful services.
- Solid understanding of relational databases and SQL query optimization.
- Hands‑on experience working in Agile/Scrum environments.
- Excellent problem‑solving skills and ability to communicate technical concepts to cross‑functional teams.
