Software Engineer
Lead the design, implementation, and optimization of Snowflake data warehouses, driving scalable analytics solutions with SQL, Python, and modern ETL practices across cloud platforms.
About the role
Key Responsibilities
- Architect and maintain enterprise‑grade Snowflake environments, ensuring high availability, performance, and security.
- Design and develop complex SQL queries, stored procedures, and data pipelines to support business intelligence and analytics initiatives.
- Collaborate with data scientists, analysts, and business stakeholders to translate requirements into efficient data models and transformations.
- Implement and manage ETL/ELT workflows using Python, dbt, or similar tools, optimizing for cost and speed.
- Monitor and tune Snowflake performance, including clustering, materialized views, and query profiling.
- Document architecture, processes, and best practices for cross‑team knowledge sharing.
Requirements
- 5+ years of experience with Snowflake and large‑scale data warehousing.
- Strong proficiency in SQL and data modeling concepts.
- Hands‑on experience with Python for data engineering and automation.
- Familiarity with cloud platforms (AWS, GCP, or Azure) and related services.
- Excellent problem‑solving skills and a collaborative mindset.
