Lead design and implementation of enterprise data platforms using Snowflake and Databricks, driving scalable data pipelines, advanced analytics, and cloud-native solutions for complex business challenges.
About the role
Key Responsibilities
- Architect, develop, and optimize data solutions on Snowflake and Databricks, ensuring high performance, scalability, and security.
- Collaborate with data scientists, analysts, and business stakeholders to translate requirements into robust data models and pipelines.
- Implement ETL/ELT processes, data quality checks, and monitoring using SQL, Python, and cloud services (AWS, Azure, GCP).
- Provide technical guidance and best‑practice recommendations for data architecture, governance, and cost management.
- Lead proof‑of‑concepts, workshops, and training sessions for internal teams and clients.
Requirements
- 5+ years of experience in data engineering with proven expertise in Snowflake and Databricks.
- Strong command of SQL, Python, and data modeling concepts.
- Hands‑on experience with cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, or GCP) and related services (S3, Data Lake, Data Factory).
- Excellent problem‑solving skills and ability to communicate complex technical ideas to non‑technical audiences.
- Proactive, collaborative mindset with a passion for delivering high‑quality data solutions.
