Lead SRE initiatives for multi‑tier environments, ensuring high availability, coordinating releases, and driving automation using Azure, AWS, Jenkins, and GitLab while applying ITIL best practices.
About the role
Key Responsibilities
- Design, implement, and maintain highly available infrastructure across development, test, UAT, and production environments.
- Coordinate and execute release and deployment processes using CI/CD pipelines (Jenkins, Azure DevOps, GitLab).
- Monitor environment health, produce availability and readiness reports, and drive incident resolution.
- Manage database refresh activities and ensure configuration consistency for SQL and Oracle systems.
- Apply ITIL frameworks to streamline change, problem, and incident management.
Requirements
- 5+ years of experience in site reliability or systems engineering with strong knowledge of servers, networks, and storage.
- Hands‑on experience with cloud platforms, specifically Azure and AWS.
- Proficiency in CI/CD tooling such as Jenkins, Azure DevOps, and GitLab.
- Solid understanding of relational databases (SQL, Oracle) and data refresh processes.
- Excellent analytical, coordination, and communication skills, with a proven ability to work across cross‑functional teams.
