Senior ServiceNow Developer responsible for designing, building, and maintaining enterprise ServiceNow solutions, integrating with external systems via REST APIs, and driving process automation using JavaScript and Flow Designer in an Agile environment.
About the role
Key Responsibilities
- Design, develop, and customize ServiceNow applications, modules, and workflows to meet mission‑critical requirements.
- Implement integrations with external platforms using REST APIs, IntegrationHub, and scripted web services.
- Write server‑side and client‑side JavaScript, including Business Rules, UI Policies, UI Actions, and Flow Designer automations.
- Collaborate with cross‑functional teams in Agile sprints to translate business needs into technical solutions.
- Maintain data integrity and performance through SQL queries, database design, and regular system health checks.
- Provide technical guidance, code reviews, and mentorship to junior developers.
Requirements
- 5+ years of hands‑on ServiceNow development experience, including ITSM, ITOM, or custom applications.
- Strong proficiency in JavaScript, ServiceNow scripting APIs, and Flow Designer.
- Experience building RESTful integrations and using IntegrationHub spokes.
- Solid understanding of ITIL processes and Agile development methodologies.
- Proven ability to troubleshoot complex issues, optimize performance, and deliver high‑quality code.
