Senior ServiceNow Developer responsible for designing, configuring, and maintaining enterprise ITSM solutions for a DoD client, leveraging ServiceNow, JavaScript, and REST APIs within an Agile environment.
About the role
Key Responsibilities
- Design, develop, and customize ServiceNow applications to support enterprise IT service delivery.
- Implement and maintain ITSM processes (Incident, Problem, Change, Request) aligned with ITIL best practices.
- Integrate ServiceNow with external systems using REST/SOAP APIs and scripting.
- Collaborate with cross‑functional teams in an Agile framework to deliver iterative enhancements.
- Provide technical guidance, code reviews, and mentorship to junior developers.
Requirements
- 5+ years of hands‑on ServiceNow development experience, including scoped applications and workflow automation.
- Strong proficiency in JavaScript, HTML, CSS, and ServiceNow scripting (Business Rules, UI Policies, Flow Designer).
- Experience integrating ServiceNow with third‑party tools via REST/SOAP APIs.
- Solid understanding of ITIL processes and ITSM best practices.
- Ability to obtain and maintain a Secret security clearance.
