About the role
Key Responsibilities
- Own the full service design lifecycle from research to delivery for federal programs, ensuring alignment with security and compliance requirements.
- Facilitate cross‑functional workshops, co‑creation sessions, and stakeholder interviews to surface user needs and business goals.
- Translate insights into service blueprints, journey maps, and prototype concepts that inform architecture, technology, and process decisions.
- Collaborate with product, engineering, and security teams to embed design thinking into agile delivery pipelines.
- Advise clients on best practices for secure, accessible, and inclusive service delivery, maintaining up‑to‑date knowledge of federal regulations.
Requirements
- 5+ years of service or experience design in a complex, regulated environment (government or defense).
- Demonstrated ability to secure and maintain a federal security clearance.
- Strong facilitation, communication, and stakeholder management skills.
- Proficiency with design tools (Figma, Miro, Adobe XD) and prototyping techniques.
- Experience working in Agile/Scrum teams and delivering iterative, user‑centered solutions.
