Senior Security Support Specialist who guides policyholders in deploying and optimizing cybersecurity tools, improves risk posture, and helps prevent cyber incidents through expert technical assistance and incident response support.
About the role
Key Responsibilities
- Provide expert guidance to policyholders on the configuration, deployment, and daily use of Coalition’s security platform and associated tools.
- Analyze customer environments, identify security gaps, and recommend remediation steps to strengthen risk posture.
- Respond to security incidents reported by clients, conduct triage, and coordinate with internal engineering and threat intelligence teams to resolve issues.
- Develop and deliver technical documentation, best‑practice guides, and training sessions for both technical and non‑technical stakeholders.
- Collaborate with product and engineering teams to relay customer feedback, influence feature enhancements, and ensure the platform meets real‑world security needs.
Requirements
- 5+ years of hands‑on experience in cybersecurity, preferably in a support or consulting role.
- Strong knowledge of security tools such as firewalls, endpoint protection, vulnerability scanners, and SIEM platforms.
- Proven ability to communicate complex technical concepts clearly to diverse audiences.
- Experience with incident response processes and risk assessment methodologies.
- Relevant certifications (e.g., CISSP, CISM, Security+) are a plus.
