About the role
Key Responsibilities
- Architect and design secure AWS solutions for large public‑sector customers, ensuring alignment with federal regulations and security frameworks.
- Act as a trusted advisor to government leaders, translating complex security concepts into actionable strategies.
- Collaborate with AWS Global Government sales and technical teams to deliver tailored security roadmaps and implementation plans.
- Lead security assessments, gap analyses, and remediation efforts, driving continuous improvement of security posture.
- Develop and deliver security workshops, training, and documentation for client stakeholders.
Requirements
- 5+ years of experience in cloud security architecture, preferably with AWS.
- Deep knowledge of IAM, encryption, network security, and incident response in a cloud environment.
- Strong understanding of federal compliance standards (FedRAMP, NIST, DoD, etc.).
- Excellent communication and stakeholder‑management skills.
- Relevant certifications (e.g., AWS Certified Security – Specialty, CISSP) are a plus.
