Senior Security Software Engineer - Keysight Technologies

Key Responsibilities

• Research, design, and implement binary and firmware analysis techniques to identify software components, dependencies, and security‑relevant metadata from compiled artifacts.
• Develop scalable, automated analysis pipelines that integrate with the SBOM Manager product, ensuring high accuracy and performance.
• Collaborate with cross‑functional teams to translate security requirements into robust, production‑ready features.
• Perform deep reverse engineering and low‑level analysis of firmware and binary formats, creating reusable libraries and tools.
• Document analysis methodologies, maintain technical specifications, and provide guidance to junior engineers.

Requirements

• 5+ years of experience in systems programming, preferably in C/C++ or Rust.
• Proven expertise in binary and firmware analysis, reverse engineering, and static analysis techniques.
• Strong understanding of software composition analysis, SBOM standards, and security metadata extraction.
• Experience building scalable, automated security tools for production environments.
• Excellent problem‑solving skills and ability to communicate complex technical concepts clearly.
