Lead security initiatives for a global background‑screening platform, designing and implementing robust defenses across on‑prem and cloud environments, while driving threat modeling, vulnerability management, and incident response to protect mission‑critical data.
About the role
Key Responsibilities
- Design, implement, and maintain security controls for on‑prem and AWS environments, ensuring compliance with industry standards.
- Conduct threat modeling, vulnerability assessments, and penetration tests to identify and remediate risks.
- Develop and enforce security policies, procedures, and incident response plans.
- Collaborate with DevOps and application teams to integrate security into CI/CD pipelines.
- Monitor security events using SIEM tools, analyze alerts, and coordinate incident containment and recovery.
Requirements
- 5+ years of experience in security engineering or related field.
- Strong knowledge of network security, cloud security (AWS), and IAM best practices.
- Hands‑on experience with penetration testing tools and vulnerability scanners.
- Excellent communication skills and ability to work cross‑functionally.
