About the role
Key Responsibilities
- Design, implement, and maintain secure cloud architectures on AWS, ensuring compliance with industry standards and internal policies.
- Develop and enforce Identity and Access Management (IAM) frameworks, including role‑based access control, least‑privilege principles, and privileged access management.
- Conduct threat modeling and risk assessments for new and existing services, translating findings into actionable security controls.
- Build and operate security automation pipelines (CI/CD integration, automated remediation, continuous compliance checks) using Python and infrastructure‑as‑code tools.
- Collaborate with development, operations, and product teams to embed security best practices throughout the software development lifecycle.
Requirements
- 5+ years of hands‑on experience securing large‑scale cloud environments, preferably AWS.
- Deep knowledge of IAM, network security, encryption, and zero‑trust design patterns.
- Proficiency in scripting or programming (Python, Bash) to create security automation and custom tooling.
- Experience performing threat modeling, vulnerability assessments, and incident response in a SaaS context.
- Strong communication skills and ability to influence cross‑functional teams on security decisions.
