About the role
Key Responsibilities
- Design, implement, and maintain security controls for cloud‑native streaming services, focusing on AWS infrastructure.
- Conduct threat modeling, risk assessments, and penetration tests to identify and remediate vulnerabilities.
- Lead incident response efforts, coordinating with cross‑functional teams to contain, investigate, and recover from security events.
- Develop and enforce security policies, standards, and best practices across the organization.
- Collaborate with engineering, product, and operations to integrate security into the CI/CD pipeline and DevSecOps workflows.
Requirements
- 5+ years of experience in security engineering within a SaaS or media streaming environment.
- Proven expertise in AWS security services (IAM, KMS, VPC, GuardDuty, Security Hub).
- Hands‑on experience with penetration testing tools (Metasploit, Burp Suite, Nmap) and vulnerability management.
- Strong knowledge of network security, encryption, and secure coding practices.
- Excellent communication skills and ability to translate complex security concepts to non‑technical stakeholders.
