Security Engineer
Senior Security Engineer driving offensive security initiatives on AWS infrastructure, executing Red Team engagements, researching novel attack vectors, and building automated tools to strengthen identity and platform security.
About the role
Key Responsibilities
- Plan, design, and execute Red Team operations targeting AWS identity, authentication, and authorization services.
- Conduct security research on emerging threats and novel attack surfaces within the AWS platform.
- Develop and maintain automated frameworks and tooling to scale offensive security testing.
- Collaborate with security leadership, engineering, and research teams to validate security assumptions and recommend mitigations.
- Provide detailed findings, impact assessments, and remediation guidance to improve the overall security posture.
Requirements
- 5+ years of experience in offensive security, Red Teaming, or penetration testing, preferably in cloud environments.
- Deep understanding of AWS services, especially identity and governance components (IAM, Cognito, SSO, etc.).
- Proficiency in scripting or programming languages (e.g., Python, Bash) for automation and tool development.
- Strong knowledge of modern attack techniques, threat modeling, and vulnerability exploitation.
- Excellent communication skills and ability to work cross‑functionally with engineering and research teams.
