Security Engineer
Lead the design and implementation of AI‑centric security solutions, protecting Microsoft’s cloud, devices, and customer environments through advanced threat intelligence, compliance automation, and incident response orchestration.
About the role
Key Responsibilities
- Architect and deploy AI‑enabled security controls across Azure, Microsoft Defender, and partner ecosystems to safeguard customer data and workloads.
- Collaborate with product, threat intelligence, and compliance teams to embed security best practices into AI development pipelines.
- Lead incident response and threat hunting activities, leveraging machine learning to detect, analyze, and remediate emerging threats.
- Develop and maintain security automation scripts and playbooks that accelerate detection, containment, and recovery for AI workloads.
- Provide technical guidance and training to customers and internal stakeholders on AI security posture and risk mitigation.
Requirements
- 10+ years of experience in security engineering, with a focus on cloud and AI environments.
- Deep knowledge of Azure Security Center, Microsoft Defender, and related Microsoft security products.
- Proficiency in scripting (Python, PowerShell) and automation frameworks for security operations.
- Strong understanding of threat intelligence, incident response, and compliance frameworks (ISO, NIST, GDPR).
- Excellent communication skills and ability to translate complex security concepts to technical and non‑technical audiences.
