Lead security for a cutting‑edge satellite broadband platform, designing and implementing AI‑driven security controls, threat modeling, and DevSecOps pipelines on AWS to protect mission‑critical data and infrastructure.
About the role
Key Responsibilities
- Architect and enforce security controls for AI‑enabled satellite communication services across the end‑to‑end stack.
- Design and implement threat models, risk assessments, and mitigation strategies for satellite and ground‑station components.
- Develop and maintain secure CI/CD pipelines using AWS services and DevSecOps best practices.
- Collaborate with product, operations, and AI teams to integrate security into feature development and deployment.
- Lead incident response, vulnerability management, and penetration testing for satellite and cloud infrastructure.
Requirements
- 5+ years of experience in security engineering, preferably in aerospace or telecom environments.
- Proficiency with Python, AWS security services (IAM, KMS, GuardDuty, Security Hub), and CI/CD tooling.
- Deep knowledge of AI application security, threat modeling, and secure software development lifecycle.
- Strong understanding of satellite communication protocols and ground‑station security.
- Excellent communication skills and ability to work cross‑functionally in a fast‑paced, mission‑critical setting.
