About the role
Key Responsibilities
- Architect and implement security controls across cloud and on‑prem environments, ensuring compliance with industry standards.
- Lead threat modeling and risk assessments for new product features and data pipelines.
- Conduct regular penetration tests and vulnerability scans, coordinating remediation with engineering teams.
- Develop and maintain security automation pipelines, integrating security checks into CI/CD workflows.
- Collaborate with product and compliance teams to embed security best practices into the development lifecycle.
Requirements
- 5+ years of experience in security engineering, with a strong background in cloud security (AWS, Azure, or GCP).
- Proven expertise in threat modeling, penetration testing, and vulnerability management.
- Hands‑on experience with IAM, encryption, and secure coding practices.
- Strong knowledge of DevSecOps tools (e.g., Snyk, Trivy, Terraform, GitHub Actions).
- Excellent communication skills and ability to translate technical security concepts to non‑technical stakeholders.
