Lead the design, implementation, and continuous improvement of enterprise security solutions, leveraging AWS, Python, and advanced threat‑detection techniques to protect critical assets and ensure compliance.
About the role
Key Responsibilities
- Architect and maintain secure cloud and on‑premises infrastructures, ensuring alignment with industry best practices and regulatory requirements.
- Lead incident response efforts, conducting root‑cause analysis, coordinating remediation, and improving detection capabilities.
- Design and execute penetration tests and red‑team exercises to uncover vulnerabilities and validate defenses.
- Develop and maintain security automation scripts in Python, integrating with SIEM, SOAR, and cloud native services.
- Collaborate with cross‑functional teams to embed security controls early in the SDLC and provide guidance on secure coding practices.
Requirements
- 5+ years of experience in security engineering, with a strong focus on cloud security and incident response.
- Proficiency in AWS security services (GuardDuty, Security Hub, IAM, KMS) and experience with Terraform or CloudFormation.
- Hands‑on experience with Python scripting for automation and data analysis.
- Deep knowledge of penetration testing methodologies, tools (Metasploit, Burp Suite, Nmap), and vulnerability management.
- Excellent communication skills and ability to translate complex security concepts to non‑technical stakeholders.
