About the role
Key Responsibilities
- Provide day‑to‑day production support for Identity and Access Management (IAM) systems, ensuring high availability and rapid incident resolution.
- Collaborate closely with IAM engineering to design, implement, and deploy secure solutions that meet business and regulatory requirements.
- Lead technical discussions, mentor junior engineers, and set best‑practice standards for security architecture and code quality.
- Analyze complex business and system requirements, translate them into secure, scalable technical designs, and oversee implementation.
- Integrate cloud security controls (AWS IAM, Cognito, etc.) and automate security workflows using Python and infrastructure‑as‑code tools.
Requirements
- 5+ years of experience in security engineering with a focus on IAM and production support.
- Strong proficiency in Python, AWS services, and cloud security best practices.
- Hands‑on experience with identity federation, SSO, MFA, and privileged access management.
- Excellent problem‑solving skills, ability to work independently and in cross‑functional teams.
- Effective communication skills, both written and verbal, with a proven track record of mentoring and influencing technical direction.
