Software Engineer
Lead the design, deployment, and automation of advanced AWS security and compliance solutions, building custom controls and AI‑enabled tooling to meet stringent regulatory requirements for high‑scale, high‑performance environments.
About the role
Key Responsibilities
- Architect and implement secure‑by‑design controls across AWS services, translating complex compliance frameworks into automated, scalable solutions.
- Develop and maintain AI‑enabled automation scripts and tooling, primarily in Python, to detect, remediate, and report security risks.
- Lead security reviews, penetration tests, and compliance assessments for highly regulated customers, ensuring adherence to industry standards such as SOC, ISO, and FedRAMP.
- Collaborate with cross‑functional teams to integrate security controls into CI/CD pipelines and infrastructure as code.
- Document architecture, policies, and procedures; provide guidance and training to internal stakeholders and customers.
Requirements
- 5+ years of experience in AWS security and compliance engineering.
- Deep knowledge of AWS security services (IAM, GuardDuty, Security Hub, Config, Macie, etc.) and compliance frameworks.
- Proficiency in scripting and automation (Python, Bash, CloudFormation, Terraform).
- Strong analytical skills with a track record of designing and implementing complex security solutions.
- Excellent communication skills and ability to influence technical and non‑technical audiences.
