Software Engineer
Lead the design and implementation of automated laboratory workflows, integrating Python, R, and AWS services to accelerate data-driven discovery and streamline clinical supply processes.
About the role
Key Responsibilities
- Design, develop, and maintain automated laboratory systems using Python and R, ensuring robust data capture and reproducibility.
- Collaborate with cross‑functional teams to translate experimental protocols into scalable, cloud‑enabled workflows on AWS.
- Implement machine learning models to optimize assay performance, reduce variability, and predict equipment maintenance.
- Analyze large datasets with SQL and statistical tools, generating actionable insights for process improvement.
- Document system architecture, code, and validation procedures; support regulatory submissions and audits.
Requirements
- Ph.D. or M.S. in Life Sciences, Bioengineering, or related field with 5+ years of laboratory automation experience.
- Proficiency in Python, R, and SQL; experience with AWS services (S3, Lambda, SageMaker).
- Strong background in machine learning, data analysis, and statistical modeling.
- Excellent communication skills and ability to work collaboratively in a global team.
- Experience with GMP/GLP environments and regulatory documentation is a plus.
