About the role
Key Responsibilities
- Architect and implement SCADA solutions for utility‑scale solar and battery energy storage systems, ensuring compliance with industry standards.
- Lead EPC engineering workstreams, coordinating with design, procurement, and construction teams to deliver on‑time, on‑budget projects.
- Develop and program PLC and HMI interfaces, integrating protocols such as IEC 61850 and DNP3.
- Perform system testing, validation, and performance optimization for OTS SCADA platforms.
- Provide technical guidance and mentorship to junior engineers and cross‑functional teams.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering, Power Systems, or related field with 7+ years of SCADA engineering experience.
- Proven expertise in PLC programming, HMI development, and communication protocols (IEC 61850, DNP3, Modbus).
- Hands‑on experience with utility‑scale photovoltaic (PV) and battery energy storage system (BESS) projects.
- Strong knowledge of power system protection, control, and renewable energy integration.
- Excellent problem‑solving, communication, and project leadership skills.
