About the role
Key Responsibilities
- Design, implement, and maintain SAP Basis landscape, including SAP HANA, NetWeaver, and ABAP environments.
- Lead database administration tasks: backup, recovery, performance tuning, and capacity planning.
- Plan and execute system upgrades, patches, and migrations to cloud or hybrid platforms.
- Collaborate with functional teams to troubleshoot and resolve complex technical issues.
- Develop and enforce best practices for security, compliance, and disaster recovery.
Requirements
- 5+ years of SAP Basis experience with proven expertise in SAP HANA and NetWeaver.
- Strong knowledge of database administration, performance tuning, and SAP security.
- Experience with cloud migration (SAP BTP, AWS, Azure) and automation tools.
- Excellent problem‑solving skills and ability to work independently and in a team.
- Fluent in English; German or Portuguese is a plus.
